Meet Jackie Smith

Jackie's journey began in Eastern North Carolina, but in 1990, she made Hickory, NC, her home. Her career started in the Veterinary Industry, where she utilized her degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician. This fulfilling experience allowed her to combine her love for animals with her professional skills, setting the foundation for her career.

 

In the years that followed, Jackie took on a new adventure by joining her husband, Chip, in his business. Working alongside him in various administrative roles, she gained valuable insights into business operations and the importance of teamwork. This experience proved instrumental when she later transitioned into a role in logistics for a Wholesale Nursery, managing operations across the eastern U.S. This role broadened her understanding of the business landscape and honed her organizational skills.

 

Jackie and Chip's journey took a profound turn when they decided to move to Costa Rica for a few years to serve in the mission field. This experience enriched their lives in ways they never imagined, deepening their commitment to helping others. Upon returning to the States, Jackie resumed her work in logistics but also felt called to re-engage in ministry, particularly with Safe Harbor and Kingdom Life Church.

 

Real estate became the next chapter in their story. With a shared passion for helping others, Jackie and Chip transitioned into real estate to combine their skills and work as a team. They take great pride in offering their clients exceptional service and ensuring their home buying or selling experience is smooth and rewarding.

 

Jackie is driven by the desire to connect people with homes that not only meet their needs but also enhance their lives. Building strong relationships with their clients is key, as it allows Jackie to understand their dreams and aspirations. This insight, combined with their knowledge of the market, enables them to quickly identify properties that are perfect for their clients, ensuring they feel confident in their investment.

 

Outside of real estate, Jackie finds joy in spending time with friends and engaging with their church community. Service is a significant part of her life, and she is actively involved in the church's activities. Another passion of hers is their farm, where Jackie and Chip grow blueberries and cultivate vibrant cut flowers. Their farm is a peaceful retreat, and they love inviting the community to come and enjoy the beauty of nature with them.
