Meet Sam Gore

Sam may have grown up along the North Carolina coast, but Hickory has been home to his heart for over 10 years. He has lived in Oklahoma, Georgia, and across the Carolinas, yet nothing compares to the sense of community he’s found here. Raised by a military father who was also a teacher and coach, Sam learned early what it means to work hard, support others, and appreciate the outdoors.

Throughout his career, Sam has worn many hats—teacher, counselor, coach, customer service professional, and property manager. For the past several years, he has also run his own home maintenance and repair company, giving him hands-on experience with what makes a home truly work for a family. Sam considers himself a lifelong learner and approaches every person he works with humility, empathy, and curiosity. He loves listening to people’s stories and finding creative ways to help them reach their goals.

At home, Sam’s world revolves around his wife, Skye, and their three daughters. Whether they're hiking, canoeing in the mountains, or just spending simple time together (even on shopping trips!), he treasures every moment. Faith is at the center of his family life. They serve together at Soma Church, where Sam also leads a men’s group called Wild at Heart.

In his real estate work, Sam is committed to going the extra mile. He believes clients deserve clarity, confidence, and someone in their corner who genuinely cares about their success. He looks forward to getting to know you and helping guide you toward your next chapter.
